Silicon Anode Drone Battery Packs for UAV, Robotics & Defense
More runtime from less battery weight
The PowerBx High-Density Battery Pack is a silicon anode drone battery built for endurance, not racing C-rates. Each configuration delivers high energy density and high usable capacity in a low-weight, compact pouch-cell platform, with modular 2S–6S voltage options from 6.8 V to 20.4 V. It is engineered for US-based UAV and agricultural drone manufacturers, robotics and AMR builders, and defense programs that need a long endurance drone battery pack without adding airframe mass.
What is silicon-anode chemistry?
These are lithium-ion cells. The difference is the anode: conventional lithium-ion uses graphite, while these cells replace it with silicon. At the anode-material level, silicon stores roughly 10× more lithium per gram than graphite (on the order of ~3,400 mAh/g of active material versus ~355 mAh/g for graphite), so more energy fits in the same weight and volume. This is a property of the anode material's lithium-storage capacity, not a claim that the finished pack has 10× the energy of a conventional pack. In practical terms, a 6S silicon anode lithium ion battery here carries ~225 Wh in a weight class where a conventional 6S 5000 mAh LiPo carries ~111 Wh — roughly double the stored energy for endurance-oriented missions. Cells use an NMC cathode in pouch format, with a 4.20 V/cell maximum charge and a 2.50 V/cell cutoff.

Built and assembled in the USA
PowerBx-engineered pack integration — BMS, interconnects, enclosure, testing, and serialization — is performed in Salt Lake City, Utah. Assembled in USA from U.S. and imported components. Built with cells certified to UN 38.3 and IEC 62133. These packs pair naturally with PowerBx power management hardware and PoE adapters and power products for integrated deployments.

Pilot program status & shipping
Pilot production. Packs are not yet UN 38.3 certified as finished batteries — prototype/evaluation units only. Once cells are electrically connected into a 2S/3S/4S/6S pack, that finished design is treated as a battery for UN 38.3 transport purposes and does not inherit the cells' UN 38.3 status. All configurations are lithium-ion batteries and remain regulated for transport; the 3S, 4S, and 6S packs each exceed 100 Wh. Transport is arranged case-by-case for prototype/evaluation units — contact us to coordinate shipping for your program.
