Can I use an Apple Zapp Pad with a Windows device or a Windows Zapp Pad with an Apple device?

No, be sure to select the corresponding Zapp Pad for your OS. The Apple and Windows versions of Zapp Pad are not cross-compatible because Zoom software uses different keyboard shortcuts for each operating system. For example, the shortcut to “switch camera” on an Apple device is Command(⌘)+Shift+N, but on Windows the shortcut is Alt+N. If an Apple Zapp Pad is paired to a Windows computer, or vice versa, the buttons will not control Zoom. Instead, they will make an error noise when pressed.

 

Why is my computer making an error noise when I press a key on my Zapp Pad?

There are two reasons your computer might be making an error sound:

1. A Windows Zapp Pad is paired with an Apple computer or an Apple Zapp Pad is paired with a Windows computer (see question above).

2. The hotkeys on your Zapp Pad might be engaging other programs running in the background. To fix this, we recommend enabling all the global shortcuts in your Zoom preferences.Check out our blog, Global Hotkeys and Zoom, to get all the details.

Are iPads or tablets included with the purchase of a PowerBx Tablet Mount?

iPads and tablets are not included with the purchase of a PowerBx enclosure. If you're interested in purchasing a tablet or iPad with your enclosure, we do offer bundled solutions. Please visit our Hardware Bundles page to learn more.

Do the Tablet Mounts include a Power Over Ethernet Adapter?

Tablet Mounts and Power Over Ethernet Adapters are sold separately, with the exception of our ICON Mounts. The ICON Mounts include a PoE unit designed to power the LED lights and tablet simultaneously. Our ICON Mounts are available with or without data and will come with the appropriate PoE based on your selection.

Does the Power Over Ethernet Adapter send data to the iPad?

Unfortunately the Classic Power Over Ethernet Adapter and ICON Power Over Ethernet Adapter do not send data to the ipad, only power is sent to the iPad using these specific PoEs. However, the Gigabit + PoE Adapter does send power and data.

 

Do the Wall Mounts fit on a single gang box or a double gang box?

Our Classic, LITE, EVO, and ICON Wall Mounts fit smoothly over single and double gang boxes. However, the ICON Wall Mount works best with a double gang box when using the larger Gigabit + PoE Adapter required with the ICON+Data Kit.

Do you offer sample product?

Yes, approved samples will be based on forecasted order volume and dispatched at the discretion of PowerBx. All sample products must be returned, unused and undamaged within 30 days or they will be invoiced in line with our General Conditions of Sale. However, if you choose to place an order for the same product within 30 days, then you may keep your sample item at no charge.

All shipping charges of sample product will be paid by the buyer. Custom samples vary in their cost and availability. All custom work will be clearly defined and scoped by PowerBx. If the buyer accepts a contract for custom product, a deposit for samples will be required. Custom samples must be paid in full before shipping to your location. Due to the unique nature of custom samples, we do not offer the option to return them. This includes prototype and pre-production product samples. What is your return and exchange policy?

Requests to return and exchange product will be accepted in original packaging no more than 30 days from the time product was received, according to carrier shipping documents and notification. All buyer requests for return or exchange of product will be subject to approval by PowerBx. Approved requests will be subject to a 25% restocking fee charged upon PowerBx's receipt of product.

 

What are your price and payment terms?

The price of each product is specified in your invoice, or otherwise quoted by PowerBx. Such price is subject to change at any time with notice to buyer. Any tax (other than income), duty or other governmental charges now or hereafter imposed on the product (or on any raw material used in manufacturing the product or imposed on PowerBx due to manufacture, transportation, sale, or use of such product or raw material) will be paid by the the buyer in addition to the product price. Funds are due to PowerBx upon invoice receipt, in accordance with the terms of your contract. PowerBx reserves the right to terminate any contract with thirty (30) days’ notice.

Net terms may be offered to buyers who have submitted a satisfactory credit application with references and have met PowerBx’s requirements for terms. If approved for terms, all subsequent orders are available for the term noted on your contract. Payment for orders will be due 30 days from the date of fulfillment.
