A 30 cm right-angle 3.5mm audio cable engineered for installs where clearance is the constraint — behind VESA-mounted displays, inside enclosures, in rack gutters, and on camera rigs. The slim connector shell clears recessed jacks that reject bulky commodity plugs.

Most 3.5mm cables are designed for a desk. This one is designed for an install. At 30 cm with a 90° termination and a low-profile shell, it routes cleanly in the space between a panel back and a wall plate — the space where a straight plug and three feet of slack become a service call.
The shell is the spec.
Recessed jacks on commercial displays, signage players, and mirrorless cameras are the reason generic right-angle cables fail. Molded shells on commodity cables are too wide to seat fully, leaving an intermittent connection that passes bench test and fails in the field. PowerBX specs a slim profile so the plug bottoms out in the jack.

FAQ
Q: What is the difference between TRS and TRRS on a 3.5mm cable?
A: TRS is 3-pole and carries stereo audio only. TRRS is 4-pole and adds a microphone channel. This cable is TRS. Using TRS in a TRRS jack silently drops the mic channel, so confirm your device's requirement before ordering.
Q: Will this work with a BrightSign player?
A: Yes. BrightSign players use 3.5mm for analog and SPDIF audio output, and several models also use 3.5mm for IR and serial. Verify which port you are cabling — this is an audio cable and is not a serial or IR interface cable.
Q: Why 30 cm instead of 1 m or 2 m?
A: Because the target application is a jumper run of a few inches. Excess cable behind a mounted display has to be coiled and dressed, which adds bulk in the exact place where clearance is tightest.
Q: Does the right-angle end go on the display or the source?
A: The 90° end goes on whichever device has the tightest clearance — usually the display or the player. The straight end goes on the more accessible side.
Q: Will the connector fit a recessed jack?
A: That is the design intent. The shell is specified narrower than standard molded right-angle plugs specifically to seat in countersunk jacks on commercial displays and cameras.
